The toy of 1000 possibilities

October 27, 2018

Curve board is a classic game that has its origins in Waldorf pedagogy.

One of the best features of the board is that it is the children themselves who are finding different uses for it and endless ways to play with it, providing them with many benefits.

  • Balancing: helping them develop their vestibular system.
  • Balance: improve control of your body movements.
  • Motricity: strengthening of the physical body.
  • Symbolic play and creativity: since the board can easily become anything. (Table, chair, bridge, house, shop, bed, etc…) .

I enjoy watching children play with this toy.
My daughters and boys from my Waldorf preschool love it and enjoy it to the fullest.
I enclose some photos of the different uses that have been given to the curved board.
