Each of our Waldorf dolls is unique, with its very own character and personality!
A Waldorf doll (also called Steiner doll) is a form of doll compatible with Waldorf (or Steiner) education philosophies. This dolls are made of natural fibers—such as wool, cotton, or linen—from their stuffing to their hair to their clothing. The dolls appearance is intentionally simple in order to allow the child to develop imagination and creative play.
The dolls are made of natural materials and created in loving handwork. As a doll maker I design and sew every doll myself and also make the matching doll accessories.
Waldorf dolls are used extensively in Waldorf education and they’ve been making their way out of the classroom and into the homes of children around the world.
